The Candlelight Pavilion is holding auditions for Annie. Chuck Ketter, dir.; Julie Lamoureux, musical dir.; Kelly Ford, choreo. Performances run Oct. 8 - Nov. 21, 2010. Rehearsals scheduled to begin September.
All Roles Open. Seeking:
Annie—female, to play 11, mezzo. Redheaded orphan, optimistic and spunky, seeking her parents.
Oliver Warbucks—male, 40-65, baritone. Billionaire businessman who opens his home, and heart, to Annie.
Miss Hannigan—female, 35-60, mezzo. Unpleasant orphanage matron, disillusioned, she hates children.
Grace Ferrell—female, 25-35, soprano. Warbucks' faithful secretary, who loves Annie from the start.
Rooster—male, 30-50, baritone. Miss Hannigan's no-good brother, out for the quick buck.
Lily—female, 30-45, soprano. Rooster's girlfriend, is smarter than she appears.
Roosevelt—male, 40-65, baritone. President of the United States, he aids Warbucks in the search for Annie's parents.
Orphans—to play ages 6 to 13
Bert Healy—male, 30-55, tenor. Radio announcer who agrees to broadcast Annie's search for her parents.
Boylan Sisters—female, 18-30, mezzo. Singers on the Bert Healy Show and hope to be famous someday.
Ensemble—male and female
Auditions are OPEN CALL and will be held Monday, Aug. 23 at 7:00pm in the theater. Please bring a current headshot and resume as well as 16 bars of a musical number. Please be prepared to dance. |
